The Lake is just outside "The Convent", a stone's throw away. Beautiful view of the lake from the living-room area and the 2 queen rooms upstairs.
The Convent is a special getaway with breathtaking views, spectacular sunrises and sunsets. A “stone’s throw” away from the public beach and playground and is situated on a huge expansive lawn overlooking the beautiful harbor. The convent is short walking distance to the Island’s restaurants, pubs, shops, Community Center, the municipal marina and the ferry dock.
There are “Eight” beautifully remodeled bedrooms. One Queen bedroom and one full size bath on the first floor that is ADA Accessible. The second floor has three rooms with Queen beds and four rooms with (2) twin beds in each room. There are also two full (newly remodeled) baths on the second floor. We provide linens, bath towels, pillows, and blankets. Downstairs, the kitchen is completely equipped with all the necessary cooking and eating accessories, including Microwave, Oven, Double Oven, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, and two coffee makers. This floor has a large dining room and a spacious living room, The living room is equipped with Satellite Smart TV and internet. The paved deck contains a grill, lawn chairs, and large picnic table.
Open year round, minimum of one week peak season (Memorial Day to October 15th) and minimum of 3 night stay during slow season (October 16th to Memorial Day).
